Clubs have contacted Manchester United about Dean Henderson’s departure

Dean Henderson has drawn interest from two clubs, according to Manchester United.
Dean Henderson is on loan at Nottingham Forest right now. His future at Manchester United is unknown.
He has two years left on his current contract, so now is a good time to cash in.
According to the Athletic, “two clubs have made contact regarding a permanent transfer.”
Top goalkeepers are hard to come by, and Dean Henderson has a track record of success in the Premier League. He has also represented England and has the potential to become a Three Lions regular in the right club situation.
According to The Athletic, while Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is willing to give Henderson a try in pre-season, an exit is his most likely option.
The combination of interest and Henderson’s selling price suggests that he will be sold.
Even if David de Gea is not retained, Henderson’s future at Old Trafford appears bleak.
The identities of the two clubs are unknown, though we can make an educated guess as to who they could be.
One possibility is his current loan club, Nottingham Forest, where he has made 20 appearances this season.
Another possibility is his former loan club Sheffield United, who are on course for automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, ESPN reports that he is of interest to Tottenham Hotspur, raising the possibility of a player-plus-cash swap to reduce the price of Harry Kane.
Spurs, on the other hand, do not currently have a manager, so their interest will be contingent on their next appointment.
Although no firm bids have been submitted, the fact that there are inquiries about a permanent deal bodes well for the summer ahead.
United may need to sell to meet Financial Fair Play requirements, and Henderson is a player with high resale value.
