Florent Malouda Urges Mbappe to Choose Chelsea Over Real Madrid

According to a former Chelsea player, Kylian Mbappe should swap PSG for Premier League Chelsea, despite Real Madrid’s interest in the France captain.
Mbappe, 24, is currently under contract with the Parisians until the summer of 2024, and he could choose to extend his stay with the Ligue 1 leaders for another year this summer.
Real Madrid is also said to be interested in the striker, a 2018 World Cup winner and five-time French top-flight champion.
Florent Malouda, a fellow Frenchman who played for Chelsea between 2007 and 2013, believes Mbappe should strongly consider his former Premier League club as his next destination, and that the west London club can build a team around the superstar.
According to AS, Malouda, 42, said: ‘I have been campaigning for Mbappe to join Chelsea for a long time! I’ve failed so far, but I’ll keep trying.
‘Hopefully, we’ll see him in the Premier League, which is the most competitive league in the world.
‘There aren’t many teams that can give him what he wants, and even fewer that can build around him.
‘He’s a leader, France’s captain, and he’ll look for a leadership role at his next club, which could cause problems.’
Mbappe is unlikely to make a firm decision on his future with the club until the end of the current season.
Chelsea is currently rebuilding, having spent over £600 million since the arrival of Todd Boehly as owner last summer, despite sitting in 11th place in the Premier League.
Mbappe’s PSG currently lead Ligue 1, while reigning Champions League champions Real Madrid are battling to close the gap on Barcelona in LaLiga.
The white-kitted team from Madrid, on the other hand, has a foot in this season’s Champions League semi-finals after a 2-0 first-leg win over the Blues.
PSG’s goal is to win the Champions League as soon as possible, despite being eliminated from this year’s competition by Bayern Munich.
The club is also in disarray following allegations that PSG president Christophe Galtier made racist remarks while in charge of Nice.
