How Manchester United could line up against Everton

Manchester United will almost certainly have to make do without Luke Shaw for Saturday’s Premier League early kickoff against Everton at Old Trafford.
The England international left the game against Brentford with an apparent hamstring injury, but Erik ten Hag refused to speculate on the severity of his injury after the game.
Shaw will be evaluated further in the next 48 hours, but he is likely to miss this game along with ankle victims Christian Eriksen, Tom Heaton, and Alejandro Garnacho.
Former Toffees loanee Donny van de Beek (knee) is also on the sidelines, while Casemiro is serving his fourth and final domestic suspension.
With Shaw expected to be unavailable, Tyrell Malacia will be given the nod on the left, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka can also be hopeful of displacing Diogo Dalot on the opposite side of the backline due to the short turnaround.
None of David de Gea, Lisandro Martinez, or Raphael Varane should be dropped, and neither should Marcel Sabitzer, but Fred’s fresh legs may now be preferred over Scott McTominay.
Up front, Antony and Bruno Fernandes appear to be locks, while Marcus Rashford, fresh off his 15th Premier League goal of the season, should be back to his old tricks.
However, Jadon Sancho may be considered for the axe as Wout Weghorst and Anthony Martial battle to lead the charge. With the latter now back to full fitness and seven goals and four assists from 15 appearances against Everton, he has a good chance of getting the nod.
Manchester United’s potential starting lineup is as follows: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Fred, Sabitzer; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; and Martial.
