Arsenal, the Premier League leaders, will host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium today.
The Gunners are playing knowing the outcome of the Manchester City vs. Liverpool game; they want to win to move closer to winning the league, while Leeds want to win to avoid relegation and are currently two points ahead of them.
Updates from both teams
Arsenal will be without Takehiro Tomiyasu for the rest of the season, and there are concerns about Thomas Partey’s fitness. Trossard and Tierney have also made progress during the international break, and all three are expected to be available for this match.
William Saliba, who has a back injury, will miss this game but will be available for Liverpool’s game the following week.
Jorginho can start in place of Partey, who is unlikely to be involved in any serious action, and Rob Holding can fill in for Saliba.
Gabriel Jesus will also be able to start a Premier League game for the first time in a long time.
Leeds suffered a lot during the international break, with Tyler Adams undergoing surgery and expected to be out for several weeks.
There are also concerns about the fitness of key visitors, Maximilian Wober and Wilfried Gnonto.
