Real Madrid is looking to sign a World Cup winner in 2024

Real Madrid ‘s current squad is in desperate need of a makeover. Without a doubt, they have some elite players. But they simply lack the depth to compete over the course of a long campaign. On this side, we’ve seen injuries and fatigue take their toll. They started the season strong but faded over time, and they appear to be struggling for form and momentum right now.
Real Madrid’s defense is one of the areas where they need to improve. As a result, it makes sense for them to sign a player who can fill multiple roles on the backline. And it appears that is precisely what they intend to do.
Benjamin Pavard is the player in question. The Frenchman is currently under contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2024.
Pavard is one of Real Madrid’s transfer targets, according to Fichajes (via The Hard Tackle). In the summer of 2024, the club will make a push for his signature.
Pavard rose to prominence as a member of the French national team as they won the World Cup in 2018. He also plays for Bayern Munich, a top club, but his future there is uncertain.
It is easy to see why Real Madrid would be interested in signing Pavard. The Frenchman can play as a right-back as well as a center-back with equal ease.
Of course, both of those are positions where Real Madrid could use some help. And they could use someone with Pavard’s versatility, especially if Nacho Fernandez leaves in the near future. The Spaniard has recently played the role of someone who can fit in anywhere on the backline.
