Real Madrid may be out of the La Liga title race, but they are still in contention for the double. They defeated Barcelona to advance to the Copa del Rey final. They, on the other hand, have a foot in the Champions League semi-finals after defeating Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final tie.
Most clubs would be overjoyed with their current situation. But, year after year, there is always a need for success at Santiago Bernabeu.
And it has become clear that this squad requires more depth if they are to compete in all three competitions throughout the season. Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund is one player who has been heavily linked with them. There does appear to be some good news in this regard.
According to Bild (via Mundo Deportivo), Real Madrid is preparing an offer worth €100 million plus bonuses worth €40-50 million.

To say the least, the Bellingham transfer saga has been full of twists and turns. Initially, Liverpool appeared to be the frontrunners to sign him. However, there have recently been reports that they have dropped out of the race.
Other clubs with an interest include Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain. And for a while, there were no rumors of a move to Real Madrid.
They are now back in full swing, with Real Madrid preparing a move to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. It’s easy to see why, as the Englishman has the potential to be the best midfielder of his generation. It’s been a while since Los Blancos pulled off a major coup. This summer, that could change.
