Real Madrid made mistake selling Casemiro to manchester united says former player

Last summer, Manchester United acquired Casemiro from Real Madrid for £60 million, a deal that proved to be a game-changer for the club. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is still grappling with life without Casemiro.
Despite a convincing 4-0 victory over Barcelona last week in the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid finds themselves 13 points behind Xavi’s team in the La Liga table, and their hopes of retaining the title are fading away. Conversely, thanks in part to the transformation brought about by Casemiro, Manchester United has progressed from a team that barely made it to the Europa League last season to a likely qualifier for the Champions League, having also won a trophy along the way.
Finding a replacement for Casemiro is no simple task, as Manchester United has come to realize during the periods when he has been suspended.
A year ago, Real Madrid believed they had everything under control when they made a significant investment in Aurelien Tchouameni, which led to the departure of Casemiro. However, in an interview with AS, Tchouameni’s former coach at Bordeaux, Gus Poyet, expressed regret over the Brazilian’s departure, saying, “When Madrid signed Tchouameni, I was thrilled for him, and I knew I would learn a great deal from Casemiro, but once he left, everything changed.”
The significant fee paid for Tchouameni, coupled with Casemiro’s departure, has increased the scrutiny on the Frenchman, and his time at Real Madrid has been anything but easy. He has only started 17 out of a possible 28 La Liga games. In contrast, Casemiro has continued to be an unstoppable force since moving to Manchester United.
Casemiro will be back in action this week in the Europa League when Manchester United faces Sevilla. He will undoubtedly remind both the Red Devils and Real Madrid of what they have been missing lately.
