Transfers Gossip: Recently, a representative of Real Madrid paid a visit to Germany to speak with Jude Bellingham and his family after deciding that the 19-year-old English midfielder from Borussia Dortmund was their top target for the next summer.

Bellingham is available for 100 million euros (£88 million) from Dortmund, with a further 40 million euros (£35 million).

Manchester United will not pursue Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane, 29, in the summer due to the prospect of dealing with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, instead focusing on alternative options such as Napoli’s Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, 24, and Juventus and Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic, 23.

Christopher Nkunku, 25, will join Chelsea next season after the Blues reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign him.

Tottenham are keen on Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and may make an offer for the 30-year-old Argentina international in the coming weeks.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has stated his desire to see Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, 24, play for Real Madrid.

Brazil forward Neymar, 31, does not intend to leave PSG and wishes to complete his career with the French club.

Manchester United could make another move this summer for one of their long-term targets, Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries, a 26-year-old Dutch defender.

Man United also intends to loan out Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri, 21, next season.

Toni Kroos, a former Germany midfielder, has decided to stay with Real Madrid for at least one more season.

Wilfried Zaha, 30, of the Ivory Coast, whose contract at Crystal Palace expires in the summer, has been offered £9 million per season by Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.

This summer, West Ham are set to compete with RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid for the signing of Norwich City’s Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara, 23.

West Ham are also interested in Bournemouth’s Zimbabwean left-back Jordan Zemura, who was released over the weekend due to a contract dispute.

Arsenal have not given up on keeping Ethan Nwaneri despite strong interest from Manchester City and Chelsea in the 15-year-old English midfielder.

Despite having one year left on his contract, Borussia Dortmund have decided to try to sell Belgium defender Thomas Meunier this summer.

Fulham manager Marco Silva is emerging as the leading candidate to succeed Antonio Conte as Tottenham manager.

Raul, the club’s reserve-team coach, has established himself as a serious contender to replace Carlo Ancelotti as first-team manager when the Italian’s current contract expires in 2024.

All West Ham players will face’significant pay cuts’ if the club is relegated from the Premier League this season.

Leicester has also included relegation wage reduction clauses in their most recent signings’ contracts.
